		<description>Despite not being a huge fan of FFX myself, I think it makes sense, if you think about it. FF I-IX are out the window due to the fact that the sprite/pre-rendered graphics would need to be entirely re-hauled and remade from scratch in HD. Final Fantasy X and XII, the two FFs from the PS2 era are already rendered in 3D and can be easily upscaled without the need to re-draw or re-create any of the assets (including voice, which would be a huge cost associated with re-making one of the earlier games). You&#039;ll noticed that all the other HD remasters (Jak &amp; Daxter, Metal Gear Solid, ICO, etc...) are all of the PS2 era. Of the modern FFs, FFX is second in popularity only to FFVII, which makes it an easy choice for an HD remaster.</description>
