I’m a lifelong Dungeons & Dragons player – I know, big surprise, right? – and my wife jokingly (that’s a joke, right, honey?) refers to my XBOX 360 as my “other wife,” so it should suffice to say that I’m a little bit excited about Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale. It’s the first console video game to utilize the D&D fourth edition rules, implementing them in an intuitive, “hack and slash” game that pits up to four players in co-op battle against a dungeon full of nasties. The full release for XBLA, PSN, PC and iOS is slated for late Spring, but in the meantime take a look at these new screenshots and a game play video from our friends at Atari!

IOS? Are you sure?
The Atari site says nothing of iOS or the Mac, so I’ll just have to keep playing Dragon Age 2 (which runs beautifully on my 27″ iMac)
Too bad, I’d get this if they made a native Mac port.
